At the age of 21, Sarah Torkoly decided to take a leap of faith and open up a studio in October 2010.

Located in downtown Edmonton, Dance Code Studio Inc. is dedicated to furthering and strengthening dancers’ techniques and styles.

The studio is currently offers jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/modern, hip hop, yoga, burlesque and ballroom classes for children up to the age of 18 as well as beginner adult classes to those who have always wanted to experience the dance world.

Dance Code Studio Inc. also runs a professional dance company called Raw Finesse. Training 12 hours a week, the company is heading to New York City in July to compete.
The goal of the studio is to help grow the Edmonton dance community and bring in talented, well-known choreographers to host workshops and events to put Edmonton on the map as a dance destination.
