DWTS Season 13: The competition narrows down to 5

As judge Len said of Monday night's performance show, Dancing with the Stars was full of frights, fights and delights.

Though there were two outstanding Broadway performances, tonight JR Martinez and Karina had the pleasure of once again, performing their hot Chicago Quickstep. Before they could even catch their breaths, the war veteran was told he was moving on to next week's show. No surprise there!

The first guest of the night, and performing for the DWTS room this week, was Kristin Chenoweth accompanied by Tony Dovolani and one of the female dance troupe members.

Next up to hear their fates were couples Ricki Lake and Derek, and Nancy Grace and Tristan. We all knew Ricki would be safe, but Nancy too? She must have impressed a lot of people with her Spamelot performance or people really like Tristan (who would blame them?) because they joined the top of the leaderpack in the safe box.

As expected on results night, more guest performances took over the dance floor, including a number by Kenny Ortega featuring High School Musical's Corbin Bleu and 16 L.A. dancers representing Macy's Stars of Dance. Not only did the HSM alum dance his way through three Broadway songs from 42nd Street, West Side Story, and In the Heights, he also sang his heart out.

After another commercial break and another guest performance, this time by Martina McBride, we got to see another result. The one highlight from Martina's performance was an appearance by former DWTS pro, Chelsie Hightower who was partnered with Val.

The next contestants to hear the results were David Arquette and Kym, and Chaz Bono and Lacey. As expected, Chaz with the lowest score of the week, was sent to the bottom two. Last to hear the their results were Rob Kardashian and Cheryl, and Hope Solo and Maks. Rob really is the underdog in the competition doing far better than anyone would have expected. He actually may be in the Top Three! Naturally, the Kardashian was safe, but the same couldn't be said for Hope.

Sadly, it was the end of the journey for Chaz. Tune in next week as the contestants take on a Halloween-theme.
